Santa Taxi will provide up to 240 FREE taxi rides for those in need of transportation to visit their family or friends during the holiday season. 6 other volunteer taxi drivers are also helping out !
Who we are looking to help:
Santa Taxi is seeking group homes, childrens homes, women's shelters, nursing homes, or disabled service centers in addition to unafilliated persons in financial need of FREE transportation. Individuals or groups of up to 6 will be considered for reuniting friends and family.
What Santa Taxi Will Do.
Santa Taxi hopes to reunite loved ones for the holidays throughout Southern California AT NO CHARGE. FREE. Round Trip included.
Quantity: This program is limited to 20 specially selected candidates or shared ride groups* at this time. Our Taxi Santa will select requests as they come in.
*Groups and Candidates: Group homes and temporary housing organizations may submit a request to have up to 6 persons dropped in up to six different locations via a shared ride system, however the return trips must also occur via shared ride on an agreed upon date. A shared ride shall only be counted as ONE trip award ! ( Thanks for looking out !)
Request Deadline Time: Extended till December 24th, 2008.
Notification: Selected parties will be notified as soon as possible.
Service Times: Most trips will begin Dec 20th - Dec 23rd, with return trips scheduled from Dec 26th - Dec 31st. You are encouraged to request other dates according to your needs.
Geographics: We can only pickup in Orange County, California. We will deliver up to six passengers anywhere in the Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles or San Diego Areas. Dates are flexible and will include set times and reservations for the Round Trip Return. Return
may be done by volunteers or other organization.

We have the ability to have taxi companies and other transportation providers throughout the nation donate to the community, we just need your inspiration. It is so easy to help someone alone and at a time of transition
